Ghost

Have you ever given it a though that if you have lost your love, would that love come back, to protect you ?

The Movie Ghost is one of those ever green love stories that will leave you with not just tears in Eyes but you would want to watch it over and over again, no matter how many times you have seen it before. It stars Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing) , Demi Moore (Charlie's Angles- Full Throttle.) and Whoppie Goldberg ( Sister Act 1 &2).

Sam (Patrick) and Molly (Demi) are a happy couple deeply in love, living together in an apartment they bought together. One Night while retuning back from a play, Sam gets killed by a mugger, but his spirit remains back, because he knows that Molly is in Danger. He contacts Oda Mae Brown, (Whoppie) . He tells Oda Mae to warn Molly. In the end, Molly is Saved, he goes to the spirit world.

The reasons why i loved this movie was the immense love that Sam had for Molly, that he never left her side knowing that he had to protect her, even though he was on Earth as a spirit. He did everything he could to protect her, even though he knew that he was helpless alone.
I also loved the soundtrack of the Movie Sung by the Righteous Brothers called Unchained Melody, which is played in the background of the movie. There was is something in that song that gives me the goosebumps, even today whenever i hear that song. The character of Oda Mae Brown played, by Whoppie Goldberg, was excellent and she was awarded the Oscar for Best Actress in a supporting role at the 1990 Academy Awards. She also won many more awards in the same category.

I loved the Movie, if you get an opportunity get a DVD of it and watch it. You will definitely cry.

Molly Jensen: "I love you."
Sam Wheat: "Ditto. "

My Favorites Movies...and what i loved about them....:-)

The other day i was just surfing through the channels on the Tv, looking for something good to watch. It had been a long tiring day, and i just wanted to unwind. Surfing through,i came across HBO. ( i hope u know what is HBO). HBO was showing Troy that day. I wanted to watch the movie, (though i have seen it abt a zillion times before). Troy had an Huge Starcast of excellent seasoned actors and actresses, who played their part well. Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, looked like Greek Gods in their roles of Achilles, Hector and Paris respectivley. The whole direction of the movie was excellent. I loved the most was a musical track"Remember", composed by James Homer, which comes at the end of the movie during the credit role. I loved the dialogues
of the movie. Some of them are my personal favorites are as follows:

1. "
I knew your father. He died well before his time. But he was fortunate enough to not have lived long enough to see his son fall."

2. "Trojan soldiers died protecting you. Perhaps they deserve more than your pity."

3. "I've fought many wars in my time. Some I've fought for land, some for power, some for glory. I suppose fighting for love makes more sense than all the rest."

4. "You gave me peace in a lifetime of war."

5. " War is young men dying and old men talking. "

6. "I'll tell you a secret. Something they don't teach you in your temple. The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again. "

The "Twilight" Phenomenon

hey all,

2 weeks ago, i saw the movie "Twilight". At first i didn't know what the movie was about, i had no idea at all. After i saw the movie ( after my friend recommended it). I must tell you guys, i found the movie was good. The lead pair ( Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) are really cool and are perfect for the role. The movie is based on the novel by the same name by Stephanie Meyer. For those who have read the book and were waiting for the movie, the wait was worth. The lead pair has created an impact on the minds of the audience who have seen the movie. The producers of the movie are now on their way to bring out the second movie, " New Moon", a squeal to "Twilight", which is again, based on the novel of the same name by the same writer. its only a matter of time before the new movie comes out. But the book and the movie have created quite a phenomenon across the globe.
